Director of Information Technology & Information Security
Burlington, VT Law Firm Seeking Experienced Director of Information Technology & Information Security Job Summary: - Oversee all IT & IS functions including managing technology operations, IT staff, and Information Security program. - Develop strategic IT plan and budget in collaboration with IT Steering Committee and Business Team. - Understand best practices in IT and information security and update policies and procedures as needed. - Handle administrative duties such as onboarding and offboarding users, maintaining document management system, and managing security incidents. - Respond to help desk calls and assist IT staff in resolving user issues. - Plan and procure new equipment and software platforms, track inventory and licenses. - Complete client security assessments and questionnaires. - Conduct annual security awareness training and monthly phishing testing. - Work with vendors and suppliers to maintain IT/IS infrastructure. - Report on IT/IS operations to the Board and Shareholders. Qualifications and Experience: - Three or more years of experience in IT management and background in IT/IS. - Law firm or professional service firm experience preferred. - Ability to build relationships and be a lifelong learner. - Strong writing and communication skills. - Organized with attention to detail and knowledge of new and emerging technologies.
