Summary:

Chemours is seeking a Senior Manager, Corporate Counsel to join their growing Legal team. This position will be responsible for partnering with the corporate finance organization and ensuring compliance with securities laws and related corporate governance issues. The ideal candidate will have broad-based experience with sophisticated legal issues in a business setting and a strong understanding of SEC regulations and corporate governance principles.

Responsibilities:

- Partner with corporate finance organization on US disclosure matters, including reviewing press releases and filings with the SEC.
- Establish and maintain strong business partnerships with various teams to facilitate business priorities.
- Develop and implement legal strategy, best practices, and policies to ensure compliance with securities laws.
- Advise business leaders on legal issues related to securities and provide practical solutions.
- Ensure awareness of US developments and their impact on disclosure requirements and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations related to executive compensation.
- Support and advise other members of the legal team on various matters, such as capital and credit market transactions and corporate governance.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree and active bar license in good standing.
- 4 years of experience in securities law, with a focus on SEC reporting and compliance.
- Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and corporate governance principles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing SEC filings and complex securities matters.
- Self-motivated and able to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
- Quality-oriented with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience interacting with members at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with governance issues and corporate finance matters is a plus.

Salary Information:

- Pay range: $150,528.00 - $235,200.00.
- Level: 29.
- Annual bonus target: 18%.
