General Counsel
Teaneck, NJ Job Title: - General Counsel Salary: - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications Experience: - 5 years of professional experience as a practicing attorney in corporate and/or commercial law in the technology industry - 5 years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements - Admitted to practice law in NY or NJ and Israel - CIPP/US certification preferred Responsibilities: - Lead day-to-day legal operations and provide counsel on various issues such as transactions, corporate legal strategy, employment law, compliance, data security, corporate governance, commercial contracts, financings, intellectual property, and dispute resolution - Develop and implement UVeye's global legal function and provide strategic legal advice to management on cross-company issues - Draft, review, and approve all company agreements in the US and Israel, including key agreements with customers, partners, suppliers, and vendors - Develop and support corporate policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations - Monitor and anticipate changes to US and Israel regulations and develop strategies to mitigate any potential risks or impacts to UVeye - Oversee and advise on all disputes, including selecting and supervising outside counsel - Provide guidance on labor and employment matters Requirements: - J.D. degree or foreign equivalent - 5 years of experience as a practicing attorney at a law firm or in-house in the technology industry - Admitted to practice law in NY or NJ, with eligibility for NJ limited in-house counsel license if not admitted in NJ - Admitted to practice law in Israel - CIPP/US certification preferred Benefits: - Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits - Company 401k match - 20 paid time off days and company-paid holidays - Opportunities for career growth as the company expands in the US Company Information: - Founded in 2016 - Pioneered the world's first fully automated suite of vehicle inspection systems - Utilized by industry giants such as Amazon, General Motors, Volvo, and CarMax - Over $200M in funding - Global team of over 200 employees - Committed to diversity, teamwork, and excellence in the workplace Equal Opportunity Employer: - All applicants will be considered for employment without discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status. |
