H2 Heading: About the Position

Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell, & Berkowitz, PC is seeking a highly professional and organized individual to join our law firm as a Law Firm Experienced New Business Intake Specialist. This full-time position reports to the New Business Intake Manager and is part of the Revenue Services Department. The ideal candidate will have experience with NBI Software, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team. This position is remote, with some in-office work required on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month.

H2 Heading: Responsibilities

- Perform functions related to conflict reports, client-matter openings, and edits
- Create client-matter numbers and distribute conflict reports to the Centralized Conflicts Review Department
- Process conflict reports for potential new hires
- Review client engagement letters
- Maintain firm databases and enter/update/retrieve data
- Create Excel spreadsheets for importing client-matter information and conflict parties
- Adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- Research and answer questions for internal clients
- Handle other job-related duties and special projects as assigned by the New Business Intake Manager or Director of Revenue Services

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact across departmental divisions
- Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and balance competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend/implement solutions
- Ability to maintain good working relationships with attorneys and staff
- Quick learner, flexible, and strategic thinker
- Team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail and accuracy
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
