Overview:

- Davis Wright Tremaine is seeking a mid-level associate to join their Intellectual Property Litigation practice in Seattle.
- The focus of this role will be on patent litigation, technology litigation, and general commercial litigation matters.
- The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of law firm experience, preferably in a mid-sized or large law firm setting.
- While not required, experience with patent litigation and/or a technical undergraduate or graduate degree is preferred.

- Washington bar admission is preferred, but out-of-state candidates who are willing to join the Washington bar will be considered.
- The annualized salary range for this position is $205,000 to $290,000, with adjustments based on education, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in patent litigation, technology litigation, and general commercial litigation matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
- Participate in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Collaborate with team members and provide support on various legal matters.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years of law firm experience, preferably in a mid-sized or large law firm setting.
- Experience with patent litigation and/or a technical undergraduate or graduate degree is preferred.
- Strong writing and oral advocacy skills are required.
- Strong academic credentials are required.
- Washington bar admission is preferred, but out-of-state candidates who are willing to join the Washington bar will be considered.
