As a Paralegal, Real Estate, your responsibilities will include drafting and managing real estate contracts, resolving title issues, managing closings, and providing support for various legal matters. You will also assist with administrative tasks and maintain legal files for the Law Department and business units. Key Responsibilities: Draft and manage real estate contracts, resolving title issues and managing closings, while keeping all stakeholders informed of the status of closings Provide independent analysis and preparation of legal documents for use in real estate transactions and litigation matters Maintain legal files and assist with implementing and enforcing the company's Records Retention policy Compose internal and external correspondence and maintain the law department budget and Legal Tracker billing system Assist with litigation matters, including locating and organizing documents for production, and coordinating with outside counsel Qualifications: Associate's degree in paralegal studies, business, accounting, finance, communications or related field (equivalent work experience considered) 5 years of experience supporting real estate transactions as a paralegal or working for a title company Knowledge of legal terms, real estate laws, and transactions Florida notary or capable of obtaining a Florida notary commission within three months of employment Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize work and meet deadlines Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work independently with little supervision Strong work ethic, self-starter, and team player with excellent interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Proficiency in Microsoft Word, familiar with Excel, and willingness to learn new technology resources Salary and Location: Competitive salary, based on experience Located in Wildlight, Florida Must be willing to work in the office at least 4 days per week Join the team at Rayonier and be a part of an organization that values safety, diversity, and a drug-free workplace.
