Real Estate Precloser
Charlotte, NC Salary: $40,000-$50,000/year DOE Precloser at Law Firm: Essential Skills and Responsibilities H1: Precloser Job Description at Law Firm H2: Professional and Organized Precloser Needed at Law Firm Law Firm is currently seeking a Precloser with exceptional organizational and communication skills to join our team. This individual must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment and have a strong attention to detail and deadlines. Job Responsibilities: - Communicate professionally with agents, lenders, buyers, and sellers throughout closing transactions - Coordinate with parties and vendors to ensure closing is completed in accordance with contract and lender due dates - Review contracts and open files for appropriate client team - Order title examination and municipal lien searches as needed - Confirm contact information for all parties in Firm software - Complete assigned tasks accurately to prepare files for closing - Request necessary documents from buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders related to contract, title, and financing - Verify accuracy of all documents received for closing - Work closely with Attorneys to resolve any title clearance issues prior to closing - Order payoffs and estoppel letters with good through dates beyond closing date - Ensure accuracy of title commitment and submit to lenders - Schedule closing appointments with all parties involved - Answer any questions regarding closing process requirements - Generate Firm documents for buyers and sellers prior to closing Benefits: - Medical, dental, and vision insurance paid by employer - Short and long term disability insurance paid by employer - Life insurance policy paid by employer - Outstanding 401K match - Generous Paid Time Off benefits - Additional Sick Leave - Multiple locations in the southeast Requirements: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong work ethic - Attention to detail and deadlines - Previous experience in real estate closing preferred Law Firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
