The Tax Manager position in Norfolk, VA is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience in managing tax advisory services, tax compliance, and tax provision for a diverse client base. The role also involves leading and developing a team, as well as providing ultra-responsive customer service to clients. Key Responsibilities:

- Manage tax advisory services, compliance, and provision for pass-through and C-corporation entities, with a focus on industries such as manufacturing and distribution, construction and real estate, professional services, technology, and financial institutions.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, representing FORVIS in the professional and business community.
- Participate in the proposal process for prospective clients.
- Contribute to FORVIS-sponsored technical guidance for internal and external publication and internal learning and development.
- Assist with managing, developing, and coaching professional tax staff.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant progressive experience in public accounting tax, including technical tax consulting and research.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA license.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in taxation or law degree.
