Law Firm Seeking Records Center Clerk in Washington, DC Office

Position Overview:
The Arnold & Porter law firm is currently seeking a Records Center Clerk to join their Information Governance Department in their Washington, DC office. This is a full-time, onsite position Monday through Friday. The Records Center Clerk will be responsible for various tasks related to the management and organization of the firm's records.

Responsibilities:
- Retrieving boxes and files from attorneys, staff, and paralegals upon request
- Updating file locations in the firm's Records Management system
- Processing retrieval requests for physical files, both on-site and off-site
- Filing incoming documents into existing folders
- Assisting with the distribution and tracking of shred bin service

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of records experience in a law firm
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Strong communication and clerical skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High level of trustworthiness with confidential information
- Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
