Litigation Docket Clerk

Law Firm Seeking Litigation Docket Clerk in San Francisco

Overview:
- Two (2) openings available in the San Francisco office
- Provide support to Managing Attorney, Managing Clerk, Assistant Managing Clerk, and Department
- Coordinate clerical and administrative tasks with a strong focus on client service

Responsibilities:
- Record all litigation documents in docketing database and calculate procedural due dates
- Assist with maintenance of litigation docket and preparation of documents
- Provide administrative assistance to Assistant Managing Clerk and Managing Attorney's Office
- Serve and file legal documents electronically and physically in various state and federal courts and agencies
- Generate and proofread requested communications, documents, forms, and reports for the department
- Create and maintain department-wide files, libraries, and databases
- Perform data entry to maintain department databases, ensuring accuracy of data
- Prepare invoices and maintain invoice files
- Assist in production of departmental policy and procedure information

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in a law firm or corporate environment
- Proficiency using calendaring or docketing systems, such as eDockets, CompuLaw or MA3000 is a plus
- Experience efiling documents through the Federal CM/ECF system or NYSCEF is a significant plus
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Demonstrated experience working with databases
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
- Exceptional client service, both internal and external
- Flexibility to work additional hours, as needed

Salary:
- Anticipated base salary of $50,000 to $60,000
- Actual base salary offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education, certifications, and location
