Job Title: Practice Group Assistant

Experience: Minimum of 1 year legal experience, preferably in a law firm environment.

- Essential functions include assisting Secretaries with opening new matters, calendaring and docketing duties, running conflicts, and other administrative duties.
- Experience handling client intake, closing matters, and preparation of trial and deposition notebooks.
- High school diploma required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain and handle confidential information.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Assist Secretaries with opening new matters.
- Assist with calendaring and docketing duties.

- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by Secretaries and Attorneys.

Job Specifications:
