International Tax Services Intern - Summer 2025
Atlanta, GA Travel 0% International Tax Services Intern - Summer 2025 (Atlanta) BDO is currently seeking a Tax Intern for their International Tax Services team for the summer of 2025 in Atlanta, GA. This position offers a unique opportunity for a candidate to gain valuable experience in international tax consulting and compliance while working with a team of experienced professionals. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to utilize your educational background and organizational skills while assisting in providing international tax advice to clients on cross-border tax matters. Responsibilities for this position include performing tax research and analysis on various international tax issues, developing work plans for clients, and coordinating with BDO colleagues in over 160 countries on how US tax rules align with foreign tax law. Additionally, the intern will have the opportunity to specialize in one or more international tax areas and assist in the preparation of Written Tax Advice (WTA) on cross-border transactions. The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree, or be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Accounting, Taxation, or a relevant field. Leadership experience is preferred, and candidates pursuing credits towards a CPA or a J.D. are also preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with tax research databases is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
