Salary Information: $130,000.00 to $180,000.00 annually Experience Information: Bachelor's degree required, minimum of 10 years' experience managing operations, legal experience preferred. Job Summary: As the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for the oversight of all non-attorney, legal personnel and provide the leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure operational efficiency and organizational growth. You will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure and lead a high-performance management team. This is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's success. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee, direct, and mentor operational units of non-attorney legal personnel - Provide day-to-day leadership and management to a service organization that reflects the company's mission and values - Drive the company to achieve and surpass operational business goals and objectives - Measure and evaluate all operational processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and productivity - Develop and implement corporate policies and procedures to enhance technology utilization and reduce redundant tasks - Provide timely and accurate reports on the company's operating condition - Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure and personnel - Lead a high-performance management team and provide mentoring for career development - Foster positive relationships with offices and regions through routine communication on performance - Represent the firm through direct contact with clients - Create annual goals in collaboration with the CEO and CFO and work with operations teams to achieve them - Align operational units to utilize strengths throughout the organization Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree required - Minimum of 10 years' experience managing operations - Legal experience preferred but not required - Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain focus on excellent delivery - Resourceful in setting priorities and guiding investments in people and systems - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain positive working relationships - Strong written and oral communication skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and client systems - Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate mission - Willingness to travel to office locations and clients, including some overnight travel Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
