Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Netherlands Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands Time Type: Full time Job Requisition ID: R74510 Company: **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** About **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***: - Data and analytics company with 10,500 colleagues serving customers in more than 150 countries - Combining legal and business information with analytics and technology to transform the way customers work - Division of RELX, a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers Overview: - Seeking an energized commercial attorney to join the dynamic legal team in the CEMEA region - Position will provide legal and general support for the business in Continental Europe (Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland) - Located in Amsterdam, Netherlands Role: - Structure, draft, and negotiate high-volume commercial contracts for a variety of agreements - Collaborate with various business and legal teams, including other **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** legal team members and Europe regional counsels - Develop and execute global initiatives to support the evolution of the legal team - Work with team members on product development and go-to-market implementation - Strategic partner and trusted advisor to a demanding business unit, providing counsel on deal matters and general business matters - Manage issues such as data usage/privacy, intellectual property, compliance, and regulatory concerns - Provide back-up support to other colleagues on the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** legal team, as needed All About You: - Strong drafting and negotiations skills, with the ability to manage complex issues and deal structures - Ability to handle highly repeatable and high-volume work, as well as strategic and unique issues - Pragmatic, solutions-oriented, and business-friendly with a "let's make it happen" attitude - Leadership skills to bring different perspectives together and work through competing priorities - Able to work independently and collaboratively with global colleagues - 8 years of relevant experience as legal counsel - Qualified in the Netherlands, fluent in spoken and written English - Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced team environment with short turnaround times - Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues - Team player who is willing to take on responsibilities and roles that support the team, region, department, and company - Interest in working in a highly international environment - Previous experience in a tech company and fluency in German would be a plus **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a division of RELX Group, is an equal opportunity employer.
