Accounts Payable Specialist
Kansas City, KS Law Firm Seeks Experienced Accounts Payable Specialist in Kansas City Summary: The law firm of Clyde & Co is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for their Kansas City office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support through the efficient processing of accounts payable transactions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in accounts payable, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm, and possess strong communication, organizational, and technical skills. Responsibilities: - Processing staff expense reimbursements in 3E software - Reviewing expenses for accuracy and contacting assistance for missing items - Processing American Express credit cards and reaching out to submitters for missing support - Handling A/P and Matter batch invoices - Researching past due balances - Obtaining W9's for new vendor set up - Reviewing vendor account statements - Filing invoice and expense report copies - Assisting with various projects as needed Required Qualifications: - 3-5 years of experience in a relevant position - Previous accounts payable experience in a law firm or professional services firm - Knowledge of 3E and/or Enterprise software (helpful, but not required) - Excellent written and oral communication skills - High attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work under pressure - Team player with strong interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word - High ethical standards and ability to handle sensitive information - High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred About the Law Firm: Clyde & Co is a leading global law firm with over 50 offices and associated offices worldwide.
