Responsibilities:

- Possess in-depth knowledge of FCPA and other anti-bribery regulations, import/export regulations, trade sanctions, and anti-human trafficking compliance
- Advance and oversee foreign third party due diligence processes
- Manage internal and third-party risk assessment processes
- Provide regulatory counseling to the business on anti-corruption, trade sanctions, and human trafficking compliance
- Promote, enhance, and sustain a training program related to the global compliance program
- Participate in acquisition due diligence and integration related to the regulatory compliance program
- Conduct complex internal investigations related to violation of Labcorp’s Code of Conduct and/or laws and regulations in countries where Labcorp operates
- Monitor changes in regulations and industry best practices and implement new policies and processes, as needed
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsel and consultants, as appropriate

Requirements:

- J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
- 5-7 years of overall legal expertise, preferably with a multi-national company and/or law firm
- Admission to a U.S. state Bar
- Experience with conducting third party due diligence and investigations
- Ability to prioritize and undertake mission critical tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in cross-cultural communications a plus
- Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or clinical trials preferred
