Ryder is currently seeking a remote Summer Intern for their Legal department. This internship will provide students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge to real-world projects at Ryder. The intern will gain a corporate business sense by learning about various departments and developing skills such as problem-solving, analysis, and public speaking. This is a great opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience and enhance their resume.

The internship is open to both graduate and undergraduate students, and the desired areas of focus are in Legal, Environmental Services, and Finance/Accounting. The intern will have the opportunity to work on various projects and tasks related to these areas, including conducting research, compiling policy information, managing correspondence, and attending meetings and briefings. The intern may also have the opportunity to work on ad-hoc projects and create educational materials for the field. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus.

The internship will last for 8 weeks and will be conducted virtually, with the potential for in-person meetings and activities for those local to Miami HQ. The ideal candidate should be a resourceful team player, able to manage ambiguity and adapt to different situations and people. They must have completed at least four semesters of college or university and be currently enrolled in a degree program related to the desired area of focus.
