The role responsibilities for this position include researching, tracking, and compiling policy, sustainability, and industry/association items. Interns will also assist with managing ESG requests/questionnaires and record keeping, as well as participate in team calls and prepare meeting materials. In addition to the role responsibilities, interns will also have ad-hoc responsibilities such as conducting research for other programs and creating educational materials for the field in priority areas. The ideal candidate for this position should be a resourceful team player who can manage ambiguity and adapt to different situations and people. For the Environmental Services department, possible projects include conducting a comprehensive U.S. state-by-state regulatory review, completing desktop audits of Torque processes, and expanding on water stress area analysis. Requirements for this position include a commitment of 8 weeks virtually, with potential for in-person meetings/activities if the candidate is local to Ryder's Miami headquarters.
