Salary Range: $6,448 - $7,464 per month

Job Description:

- Unique opportunity for law school graduates to improve analytical, research, and writing skills
- Work closely with judges, staff attorneys, and other staff to resolve cases
- Gain in-depth perspective on how courts function
- Full-time, limited duration position (typically two years)
- Remote work options available with approval
- Starting salary of $6,448 - $7,464 per month

Responsibilities:

- Research and write memoranda and draft opinions
- Edit and proofread documents
- Prepare final opinion summaries and media releases
- Attend trainings and continuing legal education programs
- Connect with members of the Oregon legal community
- Work as a team to ensure access to justice for all

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and learn new areas of law efficiently
- Familiarity with procedural and substantive law, both state and federal
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
