Tax Senior Associate
High Point, NC Tax Senior Associate - High Point, NC FORVIS is looking for a Tax Senior Associate to join our team in High Point, NC. In this role, you will work closely with others to plan for the future and provide tax services to pass-through and C-corporation entities. As a member of our People First culture, you will also have the opportunity to build relationships with clients and contribute to the growth of our firm. Key Responsibilities: - Provide tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services to companies in various industries - Supervise, develop, and coach professional tax staff - Manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service - Represent FORVIS at networking events and participate in proposal processes - Contribute to internal and external publications and participate in learning and development sessions - Work with team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field - Minimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accounting or a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience - CPA license or have satisfied the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license - Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law, or related field (preferred) Skills and Abilities: - Strong sense of ownership and dedication to delivering high-quality service - Excellent supervisory, team-building, and time-management skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Solution-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative - Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite If you are passionate about tax and enjoy working closely with others to help companies grow and succeed, FORVIS is the perfect place for you.
