Huntsville, AL Law Firm Seeks Intellectual Property Docketing Specialist in Huntsville, AL Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications Job ID: 1196 H1: Join Our Team as an Intellectual Property Docketing Specialist in Huntsville, AL H2: Competitive Salary and Benefits Package Offered Position Summary: The Law Firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Intellectual Property Docketing Specialist to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position, reporting to the Director of eDiscovery and Paralegal Services, will be responsible for managing the docketing system for all US and foreign IP prosecution communications. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of trademark and patent prosecution, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional client service. Responsibilities: - Review incoming and outgoing USPTO and foreign communications and enter applicable information into the docket system - Calendar due dates and proactively monitor deadlines to ensure timely completion - Prepare reports for attorneys and clients - Process case transfers and maintain the integrity of data in the docket system - Stay informed of US and foreign PTO rules and procedures - Prepare and file basic USPTO documents - Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure deadlines are met Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and/or 3 years of IP docketing experience preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Accurate data entry skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Familiarity with IP docket software and CPI - Willingness to learn and adapt to new workflows and procedures Benefits: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunity for growth and development within the firm - Collaborative and supportive work environment At the Law Firm, we value diversity and are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants.
