Practice Assistant

Job Title: Practice Assistant - Winstead PC Experience Information: 1-2 years of experience in a law firm preferred. Job Description: Winstead PC, a leading law firm in Fort Worth, Texas, is seeking a Practice Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our attorneys and staff, as well as assist with client billing and collections. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Print and organize monthly client billing - Review and process client billing in a timely manner - Convert billing to invoices, coordinate with billing attorneys, and send to clients electronically - Assist in researching and resolving billing questions from clients - Provide light collections assistance, in partnership with the accounting department - Calendar and schedule project deadlines and workflow milestones - Coordinate team meetings and project updates from team - Process expense reports/reimbursement requests - Provide backup administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff as needed - Other duties as assigned Requirements: - 1-2 years of experience in a law firm preferred - Proficiency with MS Office Suite - Superior verbal and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills - Ability to handle and adjust to competing deadlines and priorities - Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills with a high degree of professionalism - Ability to work overtime when required Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
