Bold Headline: Intake Attorney Wanted for Established Real Estate Law Firm in Irvine, CA

The law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intake Attorney to join our team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will work with clients on landlord-tenant matters and assess the viability of evictions.

Compensation:

- $100,000-$130,000 Annually DOE Benefits

Responsibilities:

- Assist clients step-by-step through every phase of the eviction process
- Provide legal advice through phone consultations, assessing the facts and issues of each scenario
- Conduct legal research to identify and assess cases and legal issues
- Draft legal correspondence, including letters and notices, based on client needs
- Conduct and direct legal document preparation and review, including summons and complaints and stipulations
- Make remote law and motion appearances
- Assist with occasional court appearances and client presentations

Qualifications:

- J.D. and an active California Bar license
- 1-2 years of experience as a licensed Attorney
- General knowledge of civil litigation
- Strong client service skills
- Ability to work with people of all educational, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds who may have differing communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

- Litigation and/or jury trial experience
- General overview of landlord-tenant principles
- Some contact with the rental housing industry

Schedule:

- Full-time, exempt position
- Hybrid in-office/remote work arrangement
- Business hours: 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday
