Accounting Manager
Warrington, PA Accounting Manager - Law Firm in Warrington, PA H1: Join Our Growing Firm as an Accounting Manager H2: Make a Difference in the Mortgage Industry Are you a highly skilled finance manager looking for a new challenge? Our law firm, specializing in the mortgage industry, is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team. In this role, you will have a significant impact on our business and play a crucial role in its success. If you have exceptional knowledge of accounting principles and are proficient in MS Excel and accounting software, we want to hear from you! Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 annually Responsibilities: - Manage and develop a team of 6-7 accounting staff, including a supervisor - Create a time management calendar for each staff member - Oversee the accounting operations and lead by example - Prepare cash flow projections and work with the AP team to negotiate with vendors - Collaborate with the revenue manager to resolve billing and AR-related issues - Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures - Monitor compliance with policies and maintain confidentiality of financial information - Implement internal controls and segregation of duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency - Prepare and analyze variance reports for executive team - Oversee the AR and AP teams and ensure compliance with internal control processes - Prepare financial statements and variance analysis - Create presentations for monthly and quarterly meetings - Process payroll and verify accuracy of financial entries - Monitor progress and deadlines for month-end close - Plan and conduct quarterly and annual audits - Oversee the firm's allocation process - Assist the CFO with budgeting, forecasting, audits, and reporting Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting - 3-5 years of accounting experience in diverse industries - Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling techniques - Attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment - Prior experience in law firm accounting or real estate, foreclosures, and bankruptcy preferred - Strong time management and organizational skills - Knowledge of case management systems and accounting software, preferably Dynamics Physical Demands and Work Environment: - Must be able to sit, reach, stand, walk, lift, talk, and hear - Close vision and ability to adjust focus required - Indoor office environment with moderate noise level Join our team and make a significant impact on our growing law firm in the mortgage industry.
