Job Description:
- Investigate cases of potential market abuse and assist with ad hoc deep dive reviews
- Perform UAT testing and drive continuous improvement of surveillance framework
- Contribute to implementation of strategic department projects and assist in production of management information reports
- Work closely with various internal and external parties to ensure robust surveillance activities
- Keep up to date with relevant regulatory requirements and market trends

Responsibilities:
- Investigate potential market abuse across various asset classes using automated surveillance systems
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to enhance surveillance and expand into new products and asset classes
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and market news related to market abuse
- Assist with ad hoc deep dive reviews and contribute to implementation of strategic projects
- Produce effective management information reports for senior management

Qualifications:
- University degree in Finance, Economics or Law preferred
- 2 years of experience in compliance/control environment in financial industry
- Knowledge of market abuse trade surveillance using surveillance solutions
- Understanding of regulatory environment and current issues/challenges related to market abuse
- Genuine interest in financial markets and market abuse regulation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and in a team
