Introduction:
- **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is an elite international law firm with approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 14 offices in six countries.
- The firm is looking for an experienced Office Administrator to support the Administrative team in their Chicago office.

Responsibilities:
- Facilitate and coordinate orientation, on-boarding, and integration of new partners and staff professionals to the Chicago office.
- Participate in office committee meetings and collaborate with the Firm's administrative team to access broader resources.
- Maintain master calendar of firm-wide programs and office-specific calendar.
- Coordinate special functions and events for attorneys and support staff, as well as hosting events for clients and affiliated organizations.
- Create an efficient and effective working environment for attorneys.
- Promote effective utilization of administrative staff and provide leadership and direction.
- Maintain positive employee relations and enforce policies and procedures.
- Participate in peer group meetings with other Chicago area law firms and suggest best practices.
- Work with IT management on system maintenance, upgrades, and rollouts, as well as user training and IT-related client service.
- Assist with financial planning and oversight of construction for new office space and renovations.
- Manage day-to-day facilities issues and emergency preparedness program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in office management in a professional services environment.
- Strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Effective leadership, team building, and conflict resolution skills.
- Personal qualifications: integrity, collaborative style, and ability to develop and motivate high performing teams.
- Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions, as well as work independently and in a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 and have received one booster shot in order to access the Firm's Chicago offices and attend events or meetings in person.

ADA Requirements:
- Ability to sit at a desk most of the working day and walk short distances.
- Manual dexterity, speed, and accuracy in handling office equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in an atmosphere of frequent interruption.
- Ability to work in close proximity to other individuals.
- Ability to carry light objects and lift, carry, and move objects up to 15-20 lbs.
