Full-Time Lecturer - Department of Business Law, MHBS

Job Title: Full-Time Lecturer - Department of Business Law, MHBS Experience: - Terminal degree in law (J.D.) from an accredited institution is required. - Prior teaching experience and demonstrated excellence in teaching Business Law, Ethics, and/or Critical Thinking at a high level of proficiency. - Familiarity with legal reasoning and persuasion/advocacy. - Experience in creating and administering assessments and grading students. - Ability to collaborate with colleagues and support departmental mission. - Commitment to staying current in the field. Responsibilities: - Instruction of 8 courses (24 credits per academic year). - Lecturing, leading class discussions, and conducting other teaching activities during scheduled classes. - Holding office hours and providing additional support for students outside of class time periods. - Calculating and submitting grades for all students. - Collaborating with the chair and faculty of the Business Law Department to create coursework or support the department’s mission. - Following established expectations and protocols for the department. - Encouraged to engage in research activities.
