Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal support to K-12 schools and community colleges in a variety of operational issues, with a focus on Labor & Employment law.
- Collaborate with colleagues in multiple practice areas, including Students & Public Agency Governance.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide counsel to clients.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, including hearings and trials.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments in the education sector.

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the State Bar of California.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on Labor & Employment law.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to our base salary, we also offer bonuses for billable hours and annual discretionary bonuses.
