Associate Attorney - Trust and Estates
Naples, FL

As an Associate Attorney in the Trust and Estates department at GrayRobinson, you will have the opportunity to work with a reputable and established law firm with over 15 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a minimum of 4 years of experience in trust and estates law. This is a full-time position located in our Naples office, and we are looking for a candidate who is well-versed in the administration of complex estates and trusts, as well as tax and business succession planning for sophisticated and high net-worth clients.

Responsibilities:
• Research, analyze, and draft documents for estate and gift plans, as well as other gift and transaction documents related to planning structures.
• Handle probate and trust administrations in accordance with Florida Probate Code and Florida Trust Code.
• Prepare and review Federal estate and gift tax returns in compliance with federal transfer tax rules and procedures.
• Develop expertise in planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance structures (ideal, but not required).
• Familiarize yourself with charitable planning, including split-interest trusts and private foundations (ideal, but not required).
• Continuously develop technical knowledge and play a key role in a sophisticated and growing trusts & estates practice.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in trust and estates law.
• Excellent academic credentials (LL.M. preferred, but not required depending on practice experience).
• Strong drafting skills, with experience in Interactive Legal Services drafting program being a plus.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Admission to the Florida Bar.
