HRIS Specialist
West Harrison, NY SEO Friendly Job Title: HRIS Specialist - Law Firm H1: Join Our Team as an HRIS Specialist at a Leading Law Firm H2: About the Law Firm and the HRIS Specialist Role Position Overview: - The HRIS Specialist position supports and maintains the HR-related technology and HRIS applications for the law firm. - This role is responsible for ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. - The HRIS Specialist collaborates with HR leadership, team members, and stakeholders to identify system improvements and process efficiencies. - This position also provides technical support and training for HRIS users and assists with system upgrades and maintenance. Essential Functions: - Configuring and maintaining the firm's HR system, including testing, reporting, and data analytics. - Providing technical support and troubleshooting for HRIS users. - Collaborating with HR leadership and stakeholders to identify system improvements and process efficiencies. - Translating business objectives and user needs into technical requirements. - Analyzing data and making recommendations for process enhancements. - Managing permissions, security access, and system operations for HRIS users. - Assisting with data requests from other departments, such as IT and Finance. - Ensuring compliance with data security and privacy requirements. - Conducting training for new system users and creating training materials. - Maintaining procedure documentation for the system. Qualifications/Skills Required: - Bachelor's degree required. - 3 years of experience in HRIS configuration, support, and maintenance. - Workday implementation experience is a plus. - Strong technical skills and proficiency with MS Excel. - Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. - Strong organizational and communication skills. - Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects with shifting priorities. Salary Information: - Expected salary range of $92,500 - $135,000 for this position in Westchester County. - Actual compensation will be based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
