Law Firm Seeking Experienced Patent Agent in Wilmington

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a leading law firm, is seeking experienced patent agents to join their Intellectual Property Services group in Wilmington. This is a great opportunity for individuals with backgrounds in electrical engineering or biotechnology who have prior experience working in patent law. As a Patent Agent, you will work closely with patent attorneys to assist with the preparation and prosecution of patent applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with inventors on new product ideas
- Identify patentable inventions and conduct research on current patented technologies
- Draft patent applications with the guidance of the patent team
- Monitor the patent application process and ensure deadlines are met
- Conduct ability searches regularly
- Solve client challenges and respond to their needs
- Communicate with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to respond to office actions

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering
- USPTO Registration
- 3 years of professional experience in patent law

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree or PhD

Physical Requirements:
