The Intellectual Property Intern position at Crowell & Moring LLP offers a unique opportunity for electrical engineering students to gain hands-on experience in the world of intellectual property law. • 10-week PAID internship for electrical engineering students
• Based in Washington, D.C., Chicago, or New York office
• Full-time commitment, 37.5 hours per week
• Training and education on patent laws
• Challenging assignments for Fortune 100 and emerging companies
• Mentorship and career advice from industry-leading lawyers and engineers
• Networking and social activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on patent and technology law issues
• Analyze new technologies and monitor industry news and advancements
• Review patent applications and draft documents for attorney review
• Interface with attorneys to prepare materials for client meetings

Qualifications:

• Strong academic credentials
• Undergraduate students enrolled in electrical engineering programs
• Master’s Degree and Ph.D. students will be considered
• Genuine interest in a career supporting technical innovation and law

Salary Information:

• Minimum: $40.00 per hour
• Maximum: Varies based on location, market data, skills and experience, degrees and certifications, and other factors
