Remote Associate Attorney
Little Rock, AR Salary Information: The salary range for this position is between $50,000 to $70,000 per year. Actual salary will be based on experience and qualifications. Experience Information: This position requires a Juris Doctorate degree and admittance to the Arkansas Bar. Additional licenses in other BG states are a plus. Prior experience in debt collection law is preferred, but not required. Responsibilities: Represent BG in court a minimum of 3 days per week. Review new claims and pleadings for compliance. Draft various motions and responses to contested matters. Argue motions and conduct trials and arbitrations. Manage both telephonic and written contact with opposing counsel. Prepare and respond to discovery and oversee counterclaims. Adhere to all court procedures, litigation processes, and internal controls. Maintain knowledge of client and firm policies and procedures. Work independently and make responsible decisions. Meet deadlines and maintain accurate records. Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree and admittance to Arkansas Bar. Additional licenses in other BG states are a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Prior experience in debt collection law is preferred. Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work well with a diverse group of individuals.
