H2: Seeking Goal-Oriented and Self-Motivated Individuals for Our Commercial Collections Team Law firm Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. is seeking an experienced Account Resolution Specialist to join our commercial collections team in Brooklyn Heights, OH. This full-time position offers a competitive salary, monthly bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. If you have a high school diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience in collections or accounts receivable, we encourage you to apply. Salary Information: - $17.00/hr to start - Generous monthly bonus opportunities Job Title: - Account Resolution Specialist-Commercial Collector Experience Information: - 1-3 years relevant experience in collections, accounts receivable or related industry - Commercial collection (B2B) experience preferred Responsibilities: - Request and/or mail form letters to businesses and/or personal guarantors to notify and encourage payment of delinquent commercial accounts - Confer with businesses and/or personal guarantors by telephone to determine reason for overdue payment and attempt to secure payment resolution - Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements, with supervisor/client approval if necessary - Document financial status and collection efforts in computer system - Contact businesses, personal guarantors, and attorneys for updates and additional information - Obtain payment information by phone - Utilize skip tracing tools and internet/public record searches to locate contact information - Make decisions for next steps on files and monitor for required documents - Use all available options to achieve payment of debt - Handle files in accordance with firm and client standards - Maintain professionalism in all interactions - Complete required training - Other duties as requested or required Qualifications: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - Goal driven to achieve top performance on monthly revenue goals - Accurate typing and data entry skills - Basic computer skills, including internet research and Excel - Ability to remain calm in difficult situations - Effective communication skills - Must pass background check and drug screen - Bilingual preferred, but not required Benefits: - Paid Time Off (PTO) – 16 days annually 8 Company-paid holidays - Competitive benefits – Medical, Rx, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance after 30 days and 401(k) - Promotional opportunities within the firm - Employee Perks Available from Verizon, Vehicle Manufacturers, Local Movie Theaters, Theme Parks and more!! - On site “Bistro To Go” vending and fresh foods available - Free parking - Free access to on-site state of the art fitness center - Business Casual Dress code About the Law Firm: Weltman, Weinberg & Reis Co., L.P.A. is a full-service creditors' rights law firm representing nearly every type of creditor throughout the United States.
