As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the accounting department and staff in Florida and the Northeast. This includes maintaining and enforcing accounting policies and procedures, monitoring unapplied and trust balances, and ensuring timely billing and collections statements. You will also have the opportunity to work with above-industry-standard software and receive individualized training to excel in your role.

Job Title:

Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5 years of related experience in a law firm setting
- Experience with Aderant Expert or similar legal software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies and procedures
- Oversee and support operations of the accounting department and staff in Florida and the Northeast
- Monitor unapplied and trust balances
- Oversee monthly bank reconciliations for Operating and Trust accounts
- Ensure timely billing and collections statements
- Process and pay expense reports
- Communicate with bank officials regarding payments and account status
- Train and coordinate training for new hires in the accounting department
- Provide regular status reports to management
