About the Role

As a Completions Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the Residential Property team by providing professional and proactive support to the fee earning team. Your responsibilities will include handling post-exchange work, liaising with clients and third parties, preparing for completion on sale and purchase transactions, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be responsible for submitting necessary documents and payments, responding to inquiries, and managing financial tasks following completion.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you should have a GCSE level education or equivalent and previous experience in office administration. Previous experience in a residential conveyancing or legal environment would be beneficial. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, strong time management abilities, and a positive attitude. Proficiency in MS Office products and the ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines are also essential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide professional and proactive support to the Residential Property team
Handle post-exchange work and liaise with clients, third parties, banks, and agents
Prepare for completion on sale and purchase transactions
Strictly comply with all deadlines and regulations
Submit necessary documents and payments
Respond to inquiries and maintain accurate records
Manage financial tasks following completion
Support and build working relationships with fee earners and other team members

Qualifications and Skills

GCSE level education or equivalent
Previous experience in office administration
