H1: Bad Faith Attorney - Florida (Remote in Pensacola, FL) H2: Position Summary Position Summary: The Associate Attorney at a law firm in Florida is responsible for assisting senior attorneys in providing legal counsel to clients. This is a full-time, exempt position with a work schedule that may vary. The attorney will work remotely from Pensacola, FL. Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and draft documents and pleadings - Communicate with clients and experts - Assist with trial and deposition preparation - Represent clients in court and depositions - Analyze claim files and other documentation and prepare a defense strategy - Conduct discovery, such as depositions and other written discovery - Attend mediations - Prepare for and try cases in both state and federal court - Report to clients and comply with all relevant guidelines Requirements & Competencies: - 0-4 years of experience - Florida Bar admission - Strong, relevant, and verifiable experience - Excellent research, verbal, and written communication skills - Strong time management and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work independently and collaborate with others - Meet expectations for billing goals Salary Information: The salary for this position ranges from $60,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
