eDiscovery Senior Counsel / Associate Director

In this eDiscovery Senior Counsel / Associate Director role, you will have the opportunity to join one of the world's leading consumer products companies, Unilever. As an eDiscovery expert, you will ensure the seamless execution of Unilever's eDiscovery processes and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage and advise on all aspects of eDiscovery.

The eDiscovery Senior Counsel / Associate Director position reports to the Associate General Counsel and is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement, with a preference for proximity to Unilever's U.S. headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. The salary range for this position is $135,600 to $203,300, and the role is also eligible for a bonus and long-term incentive plan. Key Responsibilities:

- Advise on eDiscovery matters and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including attorneys, paralegals, litigation managers, and outside counsel
- Provide input on technology options and assist in the execution of eDiscovery operational tasks, such as collections, evidence management, data processing, review support, and productions
- Manage eDiscovery vendors and assess their performance, ensuring service level agreements are met
- Maintain oversight of eDiscovery vendors and provide training and guidance to outside counsel as needed
- Assist in the remediation of technical errors in data processing and review platforms
- Update and maintain internal documentation and playbooks on eDiscovery protocols and standard methodology
- Contribute to regular briefings on new technology and process improvements in eDiscovery, including AI

Qualifications:

- 5 years of experience in all aspects of the eDiscovery lifecycle, including document collection, evidence management, data processing, review support, and production
- Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Purview, Relativity, and Technology Assisted Review / Active Learning
- Strong project management and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple projects, and work collaboratively with stakeholders
- Law degree and/or Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) certification preferred
