They will report to the Head of Hong Kong Finance and work closely with the Hong Kong Partners. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, specifically in a law firm or professional services setting. They must have a strong understanding of the Hong Kong Solicitors' Accounts Rules and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders and partners. H1: Finance Manager for Leading Law Firm in Hong Kong H2: Join Our Team as Head of Finance for Lewis Silkin Hong Kong Responsibilities: - Oversee all financial aspects of the Hong Kong office, including billing, cashiering, payroll, and compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules - Communicate regularly with Hong Kong Partners on financial performance and assist with financial planning and budgeting - Manage a team and delegate tasks, including billing, purchase ledger, and expenses - Ensure timely payment of bills and manage relationships with clients and vendors - Prepare reports and liaise with auditors, the Hong Kong Law Society, and other external parties as needed - Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures Experience and Skills Required: - Extensive experience in accounting, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment - Strong knowledge of Hong Kong Solicitors' Accounts Rules and money laundering regulations - Excellent technical skills, including advanced Excel and experience with practice management systems - Ability to manage time efficiently, work independently, and collaborate with team members - Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels - Flexible and adaptable with a willingness to take on additional duties Additional Information: - Lewis Silkin values diversity and inclusivity in the workplace - Open to discussing flexible working arrangements and office location - Competitive salary and benefits package offered Salary Information: - Competitive salary - Discretionary bonus scheme - Pension scheme - Life assurance, income protection, and private medical insurance - 25 days annual leave, increasing with service - Season ticket loan - Employee assistance program - Cycle to work scheme |
