Who We're Looking For

We are seeking an Associate Attorney who is passionate about Family Law and dedicated to helping real people with their law degree. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and writing skills, as well as the ability to provide exceptional hands-on client service. We value individuals who are compassionate, non-judgmental, and have a strong work ethic.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate (JD) Degree
- Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
- High level of intuition, work ethic, and educational record
- Experience with Mock Trial, Moot Court, Law Review, or Journal preferred
- Knowledge of Florida state and federal divorce and family laws
- Exceptional research and writing skills
- Ability to deliver hands-on client service and work with all ages and backgrounds
- Understanding of negotiation and other dispute resolution methods
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
- Clear oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Zoom and video conferencing

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct discovery, depositions, and mediations
- Provide consistent legal guidance and support to clients
- Interview all parties involved in the case
- Research and secure assets
- Review and draft court required filings
- Anticipate legal risks
- Coordinate with paralegals to ensure clients meet their legal obligations
- Ensure agreements are implemented
- Research cases and determine best defense strategy
- Adhere to hearing and case-related conference schedules
- Litigate cases from inception through mediation and/or trial
- Prepare comprehensive mediation and trial briefs
- Negotiate on behalf of clients
- Stay up-to-date on court and statutory deadlines
- Conduct trials and draft final proceedings
