Job Title: Trust and Estates Associate
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Experience: 4 years
Location: Naples, Florida (with 15 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C.)

GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm, is currently seeking a Trust and Estates Associate with 4 years of experience to join our team in our Naples office. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced candidate to work with sophisticated and high net-worth clients in the administration of complex estates and trusts, as well as tax and business succession planning.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong understanding and experience in researching, analyzing, and drafting documents for estate and gift plans, as well as other gift and transaction documents related to planning structures. The ideal candidate should also have experience in handling probate and trust administrations, and a thorough knowledge of the Florida Probate Code and Florida Trust Code. Knowledge of federal transfer tax rules and procedures, including the preparation and review of related tax returns, is also required. Experience in planning for family-owned businesses and life insurance structures is ideal, but not required. Additionally, knowledge of charitable planning, including split-interest trusts and private foundations, is also a plus.

The successful candidate must possess excellent academic credentials, with an LL.M. degree preferred but not required depending on practice experience. Strong drafting skills, particularly with the Interactive Legal Services drafting program, and excellent research, writing, and communication skills are also essential. The candidate must also have a desire to play a key role in a sophisticated and growing trusts & estates practice, and continuously develop their technical knowledge. Admission to the Florida Bar is a must.
