Staff Legal Attorney II
Irvine, CA Staff Legal Attorney II - Join Zurich North America Claims Team in Irvine Role Summary: - Represent Company's insureds in all phases of litigation for matters of moderate technical complexity - Achieve best outcomes for clients by demonstrating technical excellence in case handling, trial preparation and presentation - Document case files accurately and efficiently - Collaborate with claims adjusters to develop case strategy and ensure timely resolution - Maintain professional and technical knowledge through education and staying current with industry trends - Protect Zurich's reputation by maintaining confidentiality of claims information Basic Qualifications: - Juris Doctor and 5 years of experience in Litigation - Member of the Bar in good standing in jurisdiction(s) in which practice is located - Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and legal research tools - Knowledge of insurance industry, claims, and insurance defense litigation Preferred Qualifications: - Effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills - Experience working in a team-based environment - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Salary Information: - Compensation varies depending on location, role, skill set, and experience - Starting salary range for this position is $96,300.00 - $157,700.00 Benefits: - Zurich offers a comprehensive employee benefits package and competitive compensation - Ongoing career development opportunities - Inclusive and diverse work environment - Equal opportunity employer Location: - Irvine, California - Hybrid work model with flexibility to work remotely - Full-time Join Zurich and make a difference in the insurance industry.
