The Corporate Counsel, Ethics & Compliance role at Baxter is a crucial position within the company, responsible for managing the third-party compliance program, strategic E&C governance, and trade compliance program. This role reports to the Associate General Counsel, E&C Investigations, Governance, and Operations, and will support the Kidney Care business.

The successful candidate for this role will have a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school, 7 years of relevant experience, and a strong knowledge of anti-corruption, antitrust, and trade compliance laws. They will also have experience counseling on third-party compliance risks and due diligence issues, as well as managing global third-party compliance programs. Experience in the healthcare/medical device industries is preferred.

Key responsibilities for this role include managing and overseeing the Company’s third-party due diligence program, developing and managing E&C policies, trainings, and communications initiatives, and advising on and developing the Company’s trade compliance program. The candidate will also collaborate with various stakeholders across the company, liaise with U.S. Government officials, and manage outside counsel.

The estimated base salary for this position is $176,000 - $264,000 annually, with potential for discretionary bonuses, commission, and/or long-term incentives. The successful candidate may also be required to verify that they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
