In this role, you will conduct and participate in internal investigations globally and help manage the E&C internal investigations program. You will also have responsibility for internal investigations in the Americas region and work with other team members on internal investigations in the APAC and EMEA regions. Additionally, you will manage and mentor team members and collaborate with various departments and teams to identify and triage risks. Position Overview: - This position is part of the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) group within the Legal Department. - The Senior Counsel will conduct and participate in internal investigations globally and will help manage the E&C internal investigations program. - This position reports to the Associate General Counsel, E&C Investigations, Governance, and Operations. - The candidate selected for this role will have two direct reports - the E&C investigations leads for the APAC and EMEA regions. Responsibilities: - Conduct complex internal investigations related to potential employee misconduct. - Have responsibility for internal investigations in the Americas region and work with other team members on internal investigations in the APAC and EMEA regions. - Manage the triage of all allegations and reports raised to E&C. - Collaborate with and manage outside counsel. - Manage and mentor team members. - Collaborate with various departments and teams to identify and triage risks. - Assist with E&C due diligence stemming from the Company’s M&A activity. - Perform special E&C-related projects on an ad hoc basis. - Contribute to the refinement, development, and documentation of investigations-related and other compliance processes. Education & Experience: - Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school. - 9 years of relevant experience, preferably a mix of private practice and in-house roles. - Experience conducting internal corporate investigations and managing investigation workstreams and resources. - Experience managing others. - Knowledge of and experience with anti-corruption, antitrust, and trade compliance laws required. - Knowledge of and experience with pharmaceutical and medical device regulation preferred. Salary: - This position has a salary range of $216,000 to $324,000, as well as an annual incentive bonus and equity target. - The actual salary may vary based on relevant skills/experience, time in role, business line, and geographic/office location.
