Litigation Associate
Wilkes Barre, PA Job Summary: - Burns White is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their Wilkes-Barre office, with a start date of October 18, 2023. - The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice in Pennsylvania. - Prior experience with medical malpractice defense and/or insurance defense cases is a plus. - The Litigation Associate should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, strong research and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task. - This position requires the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. - The Litigation Associate will be responsible for using personal computers and other office equipment, sitting for extended periods, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds. - Candidates should be able to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment and be able to make decisions and adapt to changing situations. - The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday business hours, with occasional overtime as needed. - Burns White conducts criminal background screenings for all new hires. - Interested candidates should submit a resume and cover letter to Human Resources by email, fax, or mail.
