Are you a skilled technical support specialist with experience in Windows 10/Office 2010 networked environments? Do you have a passion for providing top-notch client service and troubleshooting complex technical issues? If so, we want you to join our team at Crowell & Moring LLP!

As a Technical Support, AV & Desktop Specialist, you will be responsible for providing direct technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our attorneys and staff. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and legal applications, while also participating in after-hours pager rotation and special projects.

In this role, you will:

- Resolve incoming requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with hardware, software, networking, and other computer related technologies
- Analyze and resolve problems according to shifting priorities, time frames, and resources
- Document resolutions in call tracking system and escalate calls to proper internal support person if necessary
- Monitor support activity and inform team/manager of any perceived trends
- Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant products and current support policies
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and identify failing/failed parts or systems
- Assist in the management and maintaining of hardware asset inventory
- Provide deskside support and perform setup of video teleconference equipment and conference room technologies
- Continually improve technical proficiency through research and training opportunities
- Participate in after-hours pager rotation for 24x7 technical support
- Communicate clearly and effectively with attorneys and staff, both orally and in writing
- Lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of technical support experience in a Windows 10/Office 2010 networked environment
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service or technical support experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with personal computers, laptops, and audio visual equipment
- Advanced personal computer skills and ability to troubleshoot Microsoft Office Applications
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Ability to provide quality client service and work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to lift, move, and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
