This position will report to the supervising attorney and provide oversight to other paralegals and legal assistants within the department. We are looking for a highly organized and motivated individual with a background in paralegal work and leadership experience. Responsibilities: - Communicate with clients and gather case-related information - Analyze and input data based on court orders and discovery - Draft and serve pleadings and court documents - Provide oversight to other paralegals and legal assistants - Ensure work tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner - Organize work tasks to prevent missed deadlines - Communicate effectively with coworkers and team members - Work independently and as part of a team - Delegate tasks and oversee projects - Train employees - Track timecards and manage work product - Provide input on grievances, performance, hiring, and promoting Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED - Associates or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field, preferred - Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program, preferred - 2 years of paralegal or clerical experience - 1 years of leadership experience, preferred - Experience in mass tort or personal injury law, preferred - Competency in MS Office, Adobe, and online platforms such as Box and DropBox - Ability to type quickly and accurately - Excellent communication skills - Self-motivated and well-organized - Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes - Must be able to pass pre-employment background check Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position will be competitive and based on experience and education level.
