Are you a current 2L or 3L law student looking for a summer internship opportunity? Look no further! **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW*** is currently seeking legal research interns to join our team and assist with various projects within the Court system. This is a paid, full-time internship program that will run for 8 weeks from June 3rd to July 26th, 2024.

As a legal research intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in conducting research, preparing reports and memoranda, and analyzing legal documents. You will also have the chance to work on special projects assigned by the Court and assist with some administrative tasks. This internship is open to Choctaw Nation tribal members currently enrolled in college.

Our Court system plays a crucial role in upholding justice and protecting the rights of our citizens.

Job Details:

As a legal research intern, your primary tasks will include:

- Completing special projects assigned by the Court, which may involve conducting research, preparing reports, and analyzing legal documents.
- Preparing written memoranda and reports based on the Court's direction.
- Assisting with administrative tasks such as copying and scanning necessary documents.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be eligible for this internship program, you must meet the following requirements:

- Current 2L or 3L law student
- Ability to make independent judgments and quick decisions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Advanced research skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret legal documents

Compensation:
