Legal Assistant - Sales

This position will report to the Foreclosure Manager and be responsible for handling all aspects of the foreclosure process from start to finish. The Legal Assistant will need to have excellent communication, organizational, and people skills as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone with: 3 years or more experience working in a law firm Basic concept/understanding of foreclosure from referral to REO Ability to read and understand title work Basic concept/understanding of different types of loan docs Basic concept/understanding of different types of loans (i.e. FHA, FNMA, Conventional, VA) Basic Knowledge of Client Software Databases, such as Black Knight, Tempo and SSE Strong analysis and judgment skills Works well in a team environment Strong organizational skills Good communication skills Enjoy public contact Able to work well under pressure Proficient computer skills Pleasant telephone manner Detail orientated Problem solving skills Typing and computer input Flexibility and ability to multi-task A professional telephone manner is essential. Must have good command of the English language, oral and written. The Legal Assistant’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Communicate with clients at every stage of the foreclosure via client's website, email, and/or phone Maintain files in the firm’s case management system Work with foreclosure attorney on his/her assigned cases Draft documents for attorney review and filing Follow up to obtain filed and/or entered documents Obtain and calendar court and/or hearing dates Process incoming mail both electronic mail and hard copy; documenting the files, uploading documents, and reviewing for necessary work Escalate issues with client as needed Telephone calls with debtors, courts, sheriffs, attorneys, interested parties, etc. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Travel to local courthouses for firm attendance when needed Benefits **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. offers its employees medical, dental and vision insurances; flexible spending accounts; short term disability insurance; company paid long term disability insurance and company paid life insurance.
