Solon, OH Salary The salary for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 per year. Law Firm is Looking for a Legal Assistant - Bankruptcy Department **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a full-service creditor’s rights law firm with offices in Solon, Ohio, Louisville and Ft. Wright, KY, is looking for a hardworking and dedicated Legal Assistant to join its team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, organizational, and people skills and be able to work well with little supervision. Job Responsibilities: Preparing pleadings, letters, and other paperwork (ie. Motion for Relief, Notice of Appearances, Objections to Confirmation, etc., as directed by attorneys) Communicating with clients Maintaining attorney calendar Reviewing PACER dockets Electronic Case Filing email review and handling E-Filing and submitting court pleadings Skills & Qualifications: Basic concept/understanding of different types of loan docs Solid knowledge of office programs like Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Basic understanding of bankruptcy process Basic knowledge of client software databases, such as Black Knight, Symphony and Pyramid Strong analysis and judgment skills Works well in a team environment Strong organizational skills Good communication skills Able to work well under pressure Proficient computer skills Pleasant telephone manner Detail orientated Problem solving skills Typing and computer input Flexibility and ability to multi-task A professional telephone manner Good command of the English language, oral and written Requirements: Business school and/or an Associates Degree 3 years or more experience working in a law firm Previous experience in a client liaison role at a law firm beneficial Salary: The salary for this position is $45,000 - $50,000 per year.
